Though one of only a few construction companies in Thailand to be awarded the prestigious ISO 9001 certification, Thai Rotary managed to implement this prestigious system in just 10 months. These months were soent on training staff at all levels, preparing documentation and implementing the quality system. Thai Rotary received its ISO 9001 award from BVQI in April 1999.

The company's main objective in achieving this prestigious certification was to gain customer assurance. By achieving ISO 9001 accreditation, Thai Rotary's customers are assured of the following:

• Raw materials are inspected prior to acceptance from suppliers.
• Materials/products are properly handled and stored.

• Projects are strictly managed to avoid unnecessary delays.
• All inspection and test equipment are properly controlled by calibration prior to use.
• Periodic reviews by the senior management ensure that bith defective products and delays are avoided.
